Arlington Bicycle Club

Est. 2004

Sponsored by B4

We are an inclusive group of cyclists who love to ride.

Community and Social Interaction: Arlington Bicycle Club (ABC) brings together like-minded individuals passionate about cycling. Being a part of ABC allows you to meet new people, make friends, and build community. It provides an opportunity to connect with fellow cyclists, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Group Rides and Training: ABC rides allow you to explore new routes, challenge yourself, and improve your cycling skills. Riding with others can motivate and encourage you to push your limits.

Safety and Support: Riding in a group offers safety benefits, particularly when cycling on roads. The collective presence of a club helps increase visibility and ensures that members look out for one another. Always follow the rules of the road.

Robert McMurry, or as most know him, Bobby Mac, is our original inspiration and leader. To this day, he has been the driving force behind ABC since its early beginnings. Sadly we lost Bobby in 2014, but he still motivates many of us to get out and ride. Please read this Boston Globe article about him and his legacy. "Ride with love in your hearts and smiles on your faces." - Bobby Mac.
